PowerSportsWraps enhancing Rides Everywhere

PowerSportsWraps located in Erie, PA is the premiere provider for vinyl wraps to customize your vehicle.  But they are more than that- they offer design services and customer service thought long extinct.  I’ve owned my Spyder for a few years and am a frequent visitor of SpyderLovers forums.  Early on I saw posts about forum members customizing their rides with printed vinyl wraps.  The majority of them were made-up by PSW.  While I was thinking about adding carbon fiber graphics to my ride I checked out a few sites.  One thing became clear- many of the sites had a small selection and offered no option to customize designs.  Only one company routinely worked with its potential customers.  Yep, PowerSportsWraps.

I eventually decided against skinning my Spyder but continued to admire the work done by the PSW team.  One day on the forum I notices PSW was inquiring if people would be interested in Spyder dash kits.  I put my name in the cue and watched to progress which was updated every few days.  I ordered a black carbon fiber kit for my ride and received it as soon as it was ready.  Great communication throughout, amazing quality product and damn fine addition to my Spyder.

Somewhere along the line I realized PSW was based in the town I grew up in.  Not only that but the owner of this amazing company was someone I went to high school with.  I didn’t know Pete well in school but knew the name.  After my girlfriend (now wife) moved in and brought her boring looking silver spyder along it was time to contact PSW about a custom wrap for it.  I reached out to Pete via email and gave a really vague description of what I had visualized in my head.  Within a few days I had a draft concept that was amazingly close, despite the minimal specifics I shared.  We switched a few colors and did another draft drawing and they nailed it.  Then I let my girlfriend in on the surprise- she loved it!  I placed the order.

Within a week the large flat box arrived.  The following weekend I laid it down on the Spyder following the guide videos and instructions.  It looked amazing despite a few wrinkles I created due to a lack of patience and a good enough attitude.  Even through I have those few wrinkles no one notices.  In fact, she gets dozens of complements on the “custom paint job” each time we are out.

This past Christmas I decided to pimp-out my now wife’s Spyder even further with additional lights all around.  A last minute idea I had was getting her a dash kit to match some of the accents on the Spyder.  I went to the PSW site and looked to see what might work- brushed aluminum was the winner.  I tapped on the sites talk-live button and chatted with Pete about getting this ordered.  Even though it was the week before Christmas I got a live person, answers to all of my questions and a full explanation on how long it would take.  Without this being a custom, non-stock item that PSW does not make themselves I received the order for the dash kit 2 days after Christmas and had it on the Spyder before the end of the year.  Another hugely amazing enhancement to one of our Spyders.

Over and over, I see posts about how my experience is not unique- its just the way they do business.  They work with their customers, are active in the rider community and show they really care.  You can’t go wrong using Power Sports Wraps to make your ride unique!
